Abstract

Visit Eric Sin’s theleftovers. It’s his portfolio site, filled with awesome abstract illustrations. This is the kind of inspiring stuff that makes me wonder why I am so lazy, blogging, instead of trying to create something wonderful. Of course, that’s the difference between me and talented people. They are very creative. Anyway, enjoy!

Jessica Alba. Hot

Hot Jessica Alba

Although Jessica Alba is not one of my favorites, I have to admit she’s hot. She looks specially sexy in these photos, but honestly, I don’t know why. Maybe it’s her great body, the fact that she’s got sexy legs, the seductive insinuation of heat (how poetic of me). But I won’t analyze the photos too much. It’s better to just shut up and look at them.

Never forget, check out the gallery, as there are more photos of her over there.

Perfume

This is not a new movie, but still I wanted to talk a little bit about it. Perfume: The story of a murderer is one of my favorite movies of all time. The story is captivating, the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous, and the soundtrack is beautiful.

Perfume

The story revolves around Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, whose incomparable sense of smell and inexplicable lack of a personal scent isolates him from society. Obsessed with the rich sensory world he alone inhabits, his single objective in life becomes the preservation of the perfect scent: the skin of young, beautiful women.

from wikipedia

The movie is a piece of art, and although it doesn’t deviate that much from the book, as usual, the book is way better. Perfume, by Patrick Suskind is definitely a book you must read. As with the movie, that book is definitely one of my favorites of all time.

By the way, the actresses are gorgeous. Rachel Hurd-Wood is such a beautiful girl, it’s almost unbelievable. And it’s no wonder that Karoline Herfurth (the plum girl) is the representation of the perfect beauty that can make a man lose his mind.

A story where the sense of smell is one of the main characters is very difficult to translate from the pages of a book to the big screen, but the director succeeded in this transition. According to the wikipedia, Stanley Kubrick once said that the book was unfilmable.

Ridley Scott, Tim Burton and Martin Scorsese either considered making the movie or were involved with the project at one time, but luckily none of them got to make it. They are great directors, true, but I think the one director that finally made this project a reality, Tom Tykwer (also known for directing Lola rennt) was just perfect for it.

The soundtrack is so beautiful, each song in the movie transports you to another world. Again, it’s one of those albums you should own.

Check out one of the awesome scenes of the movie (where Jean-Baptiste Grenouille meets his first victim).

Going a bit off topic, but still related. Listen to the melody (the name of the song is The Girl with the Plums). Besides the fact that it’s gorgeous, pay special attention to it in the video at 1:11 and forward. Now listen to Evanescence’s cloud nine. I wonder if they got too inspired by the movie, because the similarity can’t be discussed, can it?

I thought my recent post about the beautiful Rocio Guirao Diaz was not enough. We need to see more of her, and what’d be better than a couple of videos of this babe dancing in a very sensual way? Again, from some TV show from Argentina, ladies and gentlemen, the hottie dancing:

I have no words, nothing to say. She’s too much.

Bonus: hair

I always say the girls in Argentina are gorgeous. I don’t know what they eat over there, but it makes them have perfect bodies. And their faces, oh Lord, they are beautiful. Rocio Guirao Diaz is an example of the argentinian beauty. She’s an absolute babe.

Pretty in pink

She’s got a very sexy body, and she looks awesome in lingerie, but if one photo is not proof enough, check out this one of her showing her best side, or this one or this one. Actually, go check out the entire gallery of Rocio Guirao Diaz. She’s hot, isn’t she?

As a bonus today, Rocio for a TV show in Argentina

Ads, which is better

The following ads are for two completely different product. But I wonder which one is better? I’m leaning towards the Chupa Chups ad. Somehow, sex sells, eventhough the second series (for Villa del sur) is probably way more realistic.

I don’t know what the marketing department was smoking when they thought this would be a good idea.

Looks like Blender Magazine managed to convince Avril Lavigne to do a photoshoot with few clothes. At least that’s what appears to be in the cover of the magazine.

Avril Lavigne
Hell yeah, I’m hot!

Keep dreaming though, because it looks like that’s the most you’ll get. The rest of the photos aren’t that nice (at least the ones I found, I’m not sure if there are others, as I don’t buy the magazine). Check out the photos at the gallery.

Bonus: Anne Hathaway (now that is hotness!)

She loves music

I love music
by NoDate

She definitely loves music, but I’m not sure whether she knows doesn’t how to listen to it or she’s just discovered a better way to do it. Very creative photo by one of those deviantart gems: NoDate (Nadia), a very talented artist from Moscow. Check out her gallery and be impressed.
