Now that I think about it, I still haven’t seen Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. There’s a part of me that really wants to go see it, and another part of me just doesn’t care. Maybe because Tim Burton’s movies haven’t been that good in the last few years.
On the other side, for some reason, the artbook of the movie looks quite interesting. It’s 256 pages of beautiful high resolution photos, film stills, and pictures of the scuptures and art developed for the movie. And I do have to admit, no matter how bad a Tim Burton movie can get, his visual style is always impressive.
Anyway, go read a better review than mine and see some pictures of the book at Parka Blogs (one of the best sites for artbook reviews), or just go and buy the book from amazon: Alice in Wonderland: A Visual Companion (Disney Editions)
