Forget about fashion. Today’s all about art. It’s about illustration and comics. And it’s about an awesome illustrator from Chile, whose name is Nelson Dániel and whose drawings are amazing and cool (two of them accompany this post just as a small example of this guy’s talent). I have to say I love his style, and it reminds me a little bit of the style of Olivier Vatine.

Start by going to Nelson’s official site. Then go visit his flickr photostream, and finally his cool blog (it’s in spanish, so it might be a bit difficult for you to understand it, but either way, you’ll be looking at a lot of his artwork there, too).

I found his artworks at flickr a couple of weeks ago, and since then, I’m completely fascinated with his style. I wonder if he’s got any artbooks published, because I’d definitely buy them and drool while looking at his wonderful drawings and illustrations.

First, let me tell you what I think about this photo. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Well, the model (the girl) is beautiful. Her expression is lovely. And the entire photo is great. It is overall a beautiful portrait. You need to blame Aneta Kowalczyk for shooting such a nice photo.

This is not a one hit wonder. It’s not luck. It’s the result of talent. You see, the photographer (Aneta Kowalczyk) studied International Relations, and she was a model, but then, magic happened and she decided to become a photographer in 2006. And she’s awesome at it. Believe me!

Anyway, I’ll stop here, so you better go visit the site of the talented photographer Aneta Kowalczyk

What do I have for you today? What about some photography stuff? I found a cool site today (I don’t know if it is new, or has been out there forever, but it’s new for me). It’s a site full of cool photos and talented photographers, so I can do nothing else but love it. I’m talking about 500px, where you can go and create your portfolio of photos. Here’s a couple of photos that catched my attention, by Andy Crow. They are cool and beautiful portraits, aren’t they?

And also, one more photo by another talented photographer, Alona Spectorman. I love how peaceful it is, and I specially like the dof. It’s a cute photo of some flowers.

As a bonus, check out Spectrum ‘zine.

time away: it happened, am i remebering it? or am i just remembering myself remembering it.?

I almost cherish not knowing why or how, but i still seek an explanation. Something’s happen over and over outside of one’s own control or desires. The pieces that. are missing are they gone with good reason?

I would like to be honest about all of this, because i know what is right and what is wrong. What would i be, where i not from my confessions? Doubts. Dreams. And my logic. Reputation. Empty holes. Truth and lies.

I am memory.
