Archives For July 2010

If you have 8 minutes, watch this video by Brad Kremer. It is, as its title suggests, a sequence of time lapses in various locations in Japan, and it is beautifully made. This seems to be the first from many more videos to come (according to the author itself).

Hayaku: A time lapse journey through Japan was shot in the summer of 2009, in locations like Tokyo, Matsuyama, Imabari, Nagano, Gifu and Ishizushisan. And I have to say, Japan is indeed a beautiful country.

I’m pretty sure you won’t complain about this post. How could you not like to see a photo of Miranda Kerr looking sexy in a bikini? Alright, maybe you could complain, because only one photo of her is not enough, but that’s all I have for you today. Go watch some videos of her instead.

I love Victoria’s Secret. I don’t wear lingerie, because I’m a man (actually, I’m almost like the man your man could smell like), but I love the lingerie makers becaue they also make videos of beautiful women wearing their lingerie. Case in point: Miranda Kerr’s commercial, and now, the behind the scenes video. Enjoy!

Fashion portrait by curlytops. What can I say, it’s a lovely portrait, and the reflections in it enhance the photo, as they make the model look like she’s in a dream. I like it, and I know you like it. We all like it, don’t we?

What are you looking at? Seriously, I repeat, what are you looking at?

Candice Swanepoel has an amazing body, awesome lips, and looks great with whatever she’s wearing. Alessandra Ambrosio is a hot brazilian goddess with a sexy attitude and spectacular curves. Now imagine both of them wearing lingerie all the time…they should make a movie about that, it’d be great.

Anyway, there’s no movie right now, but some photos of these two beautiful models (Candice and Alessandra) by James Macari. See the rest of the photos after the break.

I might make this a regular feature for this site. It’s time for cool flash game you might want to play. It’s probably going to take you about 30 minutes to finish it. It’s easy, and it’s more an interactive story than a real game.

What caught my attention in Coma (the game) was its nice artwork and cute nifty animation. To tell you the truth, the gameplay wasn’t that exciting. In fact  it could be a bit more interesting to just watch the walkthrough video of this little online game than actually playing it. The important thing is: it’s got cool visuals and art, so it’s something that will keep you entertained for a few minutes at the office.

If you’re still interested, go play it now! I haven’t finished it yet (I have to work, you know)

Time for some photography from one of my favorite sites (deviantart). Above, a portrait of a gorgeous girl, taken by a very talented female photographer from Poland. And below, an emotive and evocative portrait by a female photographer (who’s also very talented) from Croatia.

Both girls in these photos look a bit sad, don’t they? I wonder what they’re thinking?

Machinarium

Machinarium is a point-and-click adventure game made by the talented guys at Amanita Design, a design studio from the Czech Republic.

In the game, you control a little robot, making him walk and interact with the environment, in order to solve the puzzle that will let you move to the next level. You can play a demo online, which consists of about 10% of the entire game, or purchase the entire game for $20.

I was playing the demo for 5 minutes, and really liked it, although it’s a bit slow and mellow, but the artwork and music involves you in the game. The little robot is cute. I might play it later, although I’m afraid it can get to be an addicting game.

I guess you’ll love it if you like puzzles and adventure games. There seems to be no blood, no violence, and no nudity in the game, so some of you might need to go look for that somewhere else.

Cameron Richardson (known for her appearance in Alvin and the Chipmunks) shows herself in the latest GQ magazine, in a nice photo shoot where she wears nothing but bikinis.  She’s not the greatest of actresses, but she’s definitely nice to look at.

I have to say, she actually looks really good in this photo, doesn’t she?. That’s not a real surprise, as she’s always been hot and cute. I guess I should upload some of her photos to the FB Gallery. Maybe next time.

I know the Resident Evil movies haven’t been the greatest in movie history, but I have to admit I like all of them. In fact, I rewatch them from time to time.

I’m pretty glad there’s a new one coming out in September, the fourth in the series starred by Milla Jovovich. I don’t know if it’s going to be any good, but judging it by its trailer, it’s going to have lots of cool action scenes. I hope there’s a lot of zombies and big freaking monsters in this one, and they skip character development.

Jill Valentine (played by the lovely Sienna Guillory) is back in the 4th installment of the series. At least it seems like that, as she’s listed as part of the cast in the imdb site, and apparently, Milla Jovovich confirmed it via twitter. She said: “So to answer many of your questions in one fell swoop, yes! The gorgeous and talented Sienna Guillory is back as Jill Valentine in RE4!!!”. If this is true, then I’ll definitely watch this movie.
