It’s nice when I find something awesome in my usual trips to deviantart. Today I did find some awesome artwork by Yuri Laptev, aka artfactotum, a very talented artist from Ukraine with an awesome style. His watercolors are simply unbelievable; almost monochrome, filled with insects and apocalytic images, they are really beautiful, at least they are to me. I posted two of his watercolor pieces here, but you should go check out his deviantart gallery, as it’s fill with more amazing art.

I guess I’ve been in a Karlie Kloss state of mind lately, so it shouldn’t be surprising that I’m yet again posting something about her. It’s just that I was checking my news feeds today (all 328 of them) and this image stood out. Hey, that’s Karlie wearing some sort of fashionably flowery diapers. I know, I guess those are shorts, but diapers are the first thing that came to my mind.

According to Fashion Gone Rogue, this is Karlie’s fourth Vogue cover within the last six months. Isn’t that awesome? This girl is going places, I tell you!

Bonus after the break: Behind the scenes of Nick Knight’s fashion film featuring Karlie Kloss.

Nick Knight, Director of SHOWstudio, happened to direct this little fashion film featuring the gorgeous Karlie Kloss dancing around, and wearing some cool dresses (according to the video description, i t showcases exceptional garments from the one-off collections created for Topshop by some of the greatest of Great British fashion). I’ll be honest, I didn’t like the concept of the video. Karlie, however, looks espectacular (by the way, have I told you how amazed I am at Karlie Kloss’ legs? wow).

Enough words, I assume by now you already watched the video, and I assume you thought it was pretty cool, too. You can go now.

There’s no reason for this post other than I thought this photo was fun. I was browsing and looking at random photos and this one caught my attention. It’s Karlie Kloss reacting very enthusiastically, almost energetically crazy towards her yogurt.

I love to see this more personal side of the glamorous models. You think they are unreal, but they are just normal people (depending on your definition of normal, you might think they’re normally crazy people).

Just in case, if you don’t know who this beautiful girl is, check out her model profile and one of my favorite editorials of her, She’s sort of trending, and has been appearing in quite a few editorials during the last few months, so I think you’ll see more of her in the future, if you’re interested in fashion or fashion photography.

That’s it, you can go now.

I love Flickr for the amount of quality photography and talented photographers that can be found there. It’s such an amazing website, whenever I go there I stay for hours looking at amazing photos. I currently follow more than 1000 photographers there, so you can imagine the amount of time I spend at Flickr.

I thought it would be nice to share with you some of the amazing photography I’ve “discovered” over there, so I might start doing this from time to time, showcasing some photographers that are worth checking out and follow. I might focus on fashion photography, but it’s not a must.

Let’s start with Luis Valadares, a 20 year old photographer born in Portugal and currently living in Spain. He seems to specialize in portraits, and he’s photostream has quite a few gems to look at. I specially liked the photo session he did with a dancer, and my favorite photo from his portfolio is featured below. Isn’t it cool?

The second photographer to be featured this time is Alexei Bazdarev, a russian photographer currently living in Germany. He’s got a great eye for fashion photography, and you’ll also see his work has quite a few photos featuring beautiful women showing a lot of their curves and skin. I have to say, I’m a fan of his work. The photo featured below was taken by this talented photographer, but there’s much more to see at his Flickr page, so go visit.
