Gadgets are for geeks, most of the time. I am a geek, and I love gadgets, so I also like to blog about that.

Zune ad

I don’t have a Zune, probably won’t ever buy one (I prefer the Creative players), but I thought this was a cool ad. Although I couldn’t find any relation to what the commercial is about and what the Zune can do.

We’ll soon have the wii and the ps3 in the market. I’m not sure if I’ll buy one, and if I do, I’ll probably go for nintendo’s Wii. For me, games are not about graphics, they are about entertainment. That’s why I bought myself a playstation 2 a couple of weeks ago (yep I didn’t have one before), and I’m loving it.

I just finished playing Resident Evil 4 a few days ago. Damn, that game is amazing, and scary, though I think it looked better in the gamecube. Right now, I’m playing God of War, another cool game. If the PS3 has games so fun like those two, I could think about buying it.

mac

That’s according to rabid Apple fansites spanning the interweb. They all seem to think we’ll get our hands on an ultra-portable from the Mac makers of Cupertino at some point next year.

I love the idea. It’d be cool, and hopefully, not too expensive. The thing is, that I love Apple products, but I don’t think that they are the best. Just take the iPod for example:there are better cheaper options out there.

PS3 delayed

From the playstation website

Playstation.com isn’t a website that likes to break bad news, so it’s with great disappointment that we can confirm a delay to the previously announced November launch of PlayStation 3. The much-anticipated system will now launch in Europe and the PAL territories of Russia, the Middle East, Africa and Australia in March 2007.

The system will launch in Japan and America this November, as originally planned.

We realise this will come as a huge disappointment to PlayStation fans in Europe and other PAL territories. PlayStation 3 comprises many cutting-edge technologies; unfortunately, production issues with the blue laser diodes needed for the Blu-ray Disc drive at the heart of the system have forced us to push the European launch back.

With so many different territories and languages to support, the PAL market is the most complicated region in which to launch the system, and is therefore the most pradmatic choice to bear the brunt of the shortage of components. Of course, this face does not make the decision and less difficult to make.

PlayStation 3 will launch in Europe next March when a full range of software will kickstart the next generation in style. Keep visiting PlayStation.com for official updates on the system over the coming months.

Hmmm, I don’t know, the everything about the PS3 has been bad news after bad news. I really don’t care though, probably I won’t buy one, I’m happy with my psp and my gameboy micro, but, if I have to get a console, I’ll probably buy the Wii.
