I saw Horsemen yesterday. I have to say that I did like the movie. It’s quite entertaining, it has some cool scenes, and above all, Dennis Quaid did a great job as the cop looking for the killer. It’s not a masterpiece, and it doesn’t get to be a great movie. It’s just good.

The movie is full of bad things, too. Ziyi Zhang is one of them. I like her as an actress (she’s magnificent in House of Flying Daggers, which is one of my favorite movies), but her role in Horsemen wasn’t convincing at all. One thing I found quite funny/weird was the casting decision. She’s 30 years old now, but she’s supposed to be a 17 or 18 year old girl in the movie.

The plot is the usual cop after serial killer as we’ve seen in other better movies (Se7en comes to mind). The end was completely predictable and a bit dumb. What bothered me the most was the revelation of who the killer was; from my point of view, that was done too soon.

Anyway, as I mentioned before, the movie is not free of issues, but it’s entertaining and watchable, so I don’t think you will be disappointed if you see it knowing that it won’t be that great.

If you’re in the mood for a really bad movie, go watch Room 6 (released in 2006). I don’t even know why I’m writing this post. Maybe I just want to make you suffer, or in some weird way, I did enjoy this movie.

Jerry O’Connell did a really good job, that is, if his job was to act as bad as possible. The story was awful (I guess that, in my case, knowing how it was going to end didn’t help that much), and let’s not talk about the direction. All in all, it’s a bad, really bad movie.

Why then? well, from time to time, it’s fun to watch a bad movie and make fun of it. Hey, I enjoy it, do you? I have no excuses.

So, did I mention the movie is bad? And remember “some doors should never be opened”

This is not my type of movie, but I might enjoy it, specially because Anne Hathaway is has the leading role, and I have to say, I’m a big fan of her. We’ll have to wait until October to see if this movie is any good (though it looks like it will be).

When Kym returns to the Buchman family home for the wedding of her sister Rachel, she brings a long history of personal crisis and family conflict along with her. The wedding Party’s abundant cast of friends and relations have gathered for an idyllic weekend of feating, music and love, but Kym — with her black-comic one-liners and knack for bombshell drama — is a catalyst for long-simmering tensions in the family dynamic.

Megan Fox, the star of Transformers, is one of my new favorite actresses. I won’t say that it’s because I think it’s a talented actress…it’s just because I think she’s really beautiful, and really hot. She’s like a young Angelina Jolie.

That Transformers movie was not too bad, and she was specially hot in it. I hope Transformers 2 - Revenge of the Fallen is way better, and hopefully Megan looks even sexier in it…we’ll have to wait and see. At least we’ll get a chance to see this beautiful actress on October 3rd, when her new movie, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People hits the theaters. Vicky and Cristina, these two young Americans spend a summer in Spain and meet a flamboyant artist and his beautiful but insane ex-wife. Vicky is straight-laced and about to be married. Cristina is a sexually adventurous free spirit. When they all become amorously entangled, both comedic and harrowing results ensue.

I’m not really a fan of Woody Allen, and I dislike Penelope Cruz quite a bit. BUT, I have to say this movie looks like it’s going to be good. And I can’t forget the fact that there’s at least one kissing scene between Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz, which I can’t deny, sounds awesome.

The lovely Zooey Deschanel is BlackBook Magazine’s June-July Cover Girl, and I love it. She looks very cute with her love eyes, and kind of sexy in that swimsuit. I think this girl is absolutely gorgeous.

There was a time when Zooey Deschanel was Almost Famous. Since then, she’s gone from Elf-in good girl to surfing penguin all the while maintaining her status as indie cinema’s best and brightest no-brainer crush. Now she has teamed up with the “M’s” - that is, Night and Ward - to make a blockbuster movie and some lovely music, respectively. She’s, how you say, happening!

By the way, that movie (The Happening, with Mark Wahlberg) looks pretty interesting, and I hope it is, because I do want to see it. But even if it’s a bad movie, it’ll be nice to see Zooey Deschanel looking cute in it. Also, I need to watch Almost Famous. It’s been on my list forever, but I keep forgetting about it.

Oh, and I have to say that I don’t like her music too much, but I have to admit it’s pretty catchy (she’s got a lovely voice), and it’s way way way way way better to Scarlett Johansson’s lousy attempt at singing.

Those little nasty creatures. I loved them, so I’m glad to see them back again, even if it’s just for an ad for something, somewhere, somehow.

I’ve been wanting to post something about this beautiful actress for a long time, so today I just went image hunting and added a lot of images of Sienna Guillory to the fb revolution gallery. I hope you like them.

Those eyes and those lips kill me. She’s gorgeous, isn’t she? The first time I saw her on the big screen was on Resident Evil: Apocalypse, in the role of Jill Valentine. I remember the movie wasn’t good, but she was really hot in it. I probably need to go and watch it again. Talking about Resident Evil, is Resident Evil: Extinction any good? I still haven’t seen it, and it’s a shame that Sienna is not in it.

Guillory will be a lead in the forthcoming television series The Oaks, expected to begin airing in 2008. She joins Bahar Soomekh, Matt Lanter, Romy Rosemont, Jeremy Renner, Michael Rispoli and Shannon Lucio in the series which follows the intertwining stories of three families — a young couple in 1968 that have lost a child, a family of four in 1998, and a pregnant couple in 2008 — who are haunted by the same spirit in their house. The television series began filming on November 5, 2007 on location in Pasadena, California. Guillory will play Jessica, the 2008 couple’s neighbour, a woman suffering from Asperger’s syndrome who went to school with the husband (and father-to-be) and shares a secret with him.
