At this point, it doesn’t really surprise me anymore whenever I find some talented kid at youtube.
Mother’s journey is part of the soundtrack of the german movie Goodbye Lenin (highly recommended). The music for that movie was composed by one of my favorite musicians: Yann Tiersen. Yes, he’s the same guy that composed the music for Amelie. I hope you like it. And wow, that kid has talent.
Tool has to be my favorite band of all time. Their music is awesome, and the visuals of their videos, though kinda creepy, it’s espectacular (also, check out sober).
So, I leave you with some music. It seems like this blog it’s lacking its daily dosis of posts, but it’s just that I’ve been really busy these days. Don’t worry though, and come back often, as there’s always something new here.

This is one of my favorite videos and songs of all times. For some reason, it makes me cry….well, not really, but still, it’s a touching song, a masterpiece. It is supposed to be inspired by the novel The Famished Road. I’ve never read that book, but I guess I will have to now.
This is what Thom Yorke says about the song:
Street Spirit is our purest song, but I didn’t write it. It wrote itself. We were just its messengers; its biological catalysts. Its core is a complete mystery to me, and, you know, I wouldn’t ever try to write something that hopeless. All of our saddest songs have somewhere in them at least a glimmer of resolve.
