I’m very curious about it. Who is this girl? or who’s the photographer? any info is good info. I really hate it when people blog photos but don’t link to the original source. I guess I’ve done that, too, but I avoid it whenever I can.

Anyway, again, do you know who’s the girl in the photo? She looks like Alessandra Ambrosio to me.

Update: thanks voristrip, it seems she’s Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Victoria’s Secret Angel and star of the upcoming movie Transformers 3 (replacing Megan Fox). There are a couple of additional photos of this beautiful model after the break.

More fashion and more models. Here’s Elsa Hosk in two wonderful photos by Ellen von Unwerth (famed photographer of classic 1980’s and 1990’s GUESS advertising campaigns) for a GUESS for spring/summer 2011. I didn’t know who this model was until recently, and now I think I want to see more of her.

See more photos from this campaign featuring Alyssa Miller, Elsa Hosk and Kate Upton at Trendnista.

There’s a surprise after the break. You’ll be able to see a cool, flirty and sexy bonus video from this GUESS campaign, also featuring the beautiful model Elsa Hosk at the beach.

House, M.D. is one of my favorite TV series, and it was way better when Olivia Wilde was a regular on it. She seemed to have moved on to bigger and better things.

Anyway, here’s the beautiful actress Olivia Wilde from a photoshoot for Flaunt Magazine from 2009. Wow, it’s amazing they are already two years old, but at least it’s a reminder that Olivia Wilde looked as beautiful back then as she does now, doesn’t she?

Go see all the photos from this photoshoot at the gallery.

Today, two photos of the beautiful Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel, who made an appearance in the Blumarine Fall/Winder 2011/2012 Fashion Show in Milan. It looks like the world of fashion is in love with this model, and I can understand why. She’s hot; she has an amazing body and a wonderful face.

Candice Swanepoel actually opened and closed the show. I love the two photos above, she looks elegant and stylish, although I have to say that I really don’t like her make-up.

You can see the full fashion show video after the break. You don’t want to miss her walking down the catwalk.

I wanted to share this animated commercial from the 80’s. Why? just because I thought it was cool. I hate the music, but I liked the animation and style of the ad.

It’s animated by Eric Goldberg for Richard Williams Animation Studio.

The balancing elephant

Photo of a hyper-realistic sculpture of a balancing elephant by Daniel Firman for the exhibition Superdome at the Palais de Tokyo. You probably won’t find it there anymore, as this is from 2008. I know it’s old news, but this thing mesmerizes me every time I “discover” it, so I might as well post it here.

What do you think about it? Why don’t you leave a comment…

Bonus: elephant attacking a woman.

I want to share a very cool, trippy and weird hand drawn animation short created back in the 70’s. I wasn’t there, but, in my opinion, the animator must have been doing some weird drugs at the time. Check it out in the video below.

About face, by Chris James

About Face is an animation short written and drawn by Chris James. The film was runner-up in the Grierson Award for Best Short Film of 1978. It features caricatures of Henry the VIII, Mick Jagger, Oscar Wilde, Lord Alfred Douglas, Queen Elizabeth, Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, The Marx Brothers, David Bowie and a worm.

I wanted to start the week sharing something outstanding with you. So, here it is, one photo by the very talented British photographer Dan Holdsworth. This one is from his series Autopia.

I’m fascinated with this guy’s photos. His work seems to deal a lot with long exposures and the contrast of light and darkness. He ends up creating surreal landscapes that are a bit spooky and incredibly cool.
