Archives For blackwhite
Karlie Kloss by Danie Jackson. I don’t need to tell you why I’m posting this photo of her, do I? Maybe it’s because it’s black and white, or maybe those legs look nice. Whatever it is, you’ll have to deal with it.
Marie-Hélène Arnaud wearing a suit from CHANEL’s 1959 Spring/Summer Haute Couture collection. Via Culture Chanel. Beautiful people have something normal human beings lack.
I just thought she looked cute, and it’s a nice portrait. Photo by Pavel Davydenko.
WSJ Magazine decided to have Mikael Jansson photographing Kati Nescher for an editorial they are calling Fifty Shades of White. How original.
You can see all the photos at Smile. I thought this one of her drinking some milk was too good not too share. She looks absolutely beautiful, doesn’t she?
A photo in black and white taken by Richard Avedon in 1965 for Vogue US. It’s Jean Shrimpton with a beautiful face and a really crazy hairdo. Did you know that most women in the 60′s looked like that? Fact!
German model Vera von Lehndorff Gottliebe, aka Veruschka, posing for photographer Franco Rubartelli. Photo taken in 1968 for Vogue. Via.
This is what I’d call a fantastic fashion photograph. The model is Evelyn Tripp. This cool photo in black and white was taken for Harper’s Bazaar, issue of May 1954 (the photo was obviously taken before that, so that it could appear in that issue of the magazine). And the photographer, Lillian Bassman.

A portrait in black and white of a lovely model, Frida Aasen, from Norway. Learn a bit more about her.
Being expressive with your eyes. I really really like this picture in black and white. It makes me smile. Sadly, I couldn’t find a source.

It’s raining outside. It’s one of those days when the colors seem to have disappeared. I guess that’s why I found it appropiate to share a couple of photos in black and white. The one was taken somewhere in India. It’s intriguing. It makes me wonder who those people are.
The one below is just wonderful to look at. It’s always nice to see a portrait of a beautiful girl. In this case, a portrait in black and white of a russian lawyer living in London.

And that’s all. I’m still trying to figure out what I’m going to do with this site. It needs a direction. It needs a purpose. I’d appreciate your comments and ideas.
Is there a girl in your room? I really wasn’t referring to her; it just was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this two photos.
I just thought this two photos deserved their own post. The model is absolutely stunning, and the mood and lighting is simply great. The originals aren’t in black and white, but I thought they look better this way. What do you think?
If you want to see a little bit more, there’s a video for Confashion Sping/Summer 2012 featuring this gorgeous model, after the break.
