Two Photographers you should be following on Flickr

I love Flickr for the amount of quality photography and talented photographers that can be found there. It’s such an amazing website, whenever I go there I stay for hours looking at amazing photos. I currently follow more than 1000 photographers there, so you can imagine the amount of time I spend at Flickr.

I thought it would be nice to share with you some of the amazing photography I’ve “discovered” over there, so I might start doing this from time to time, showcasing some photographers that are worth checking out and follow. I might focus on fashion photography, but it’s not a must.

Let’s start with Luis Valadares, a 20 year old photographer born in Portugal and currently living in Spain. He seems to specialize in portraits, and he’s photostream has quite a few gems to look at. I specially liked the photo session he did with a dancer, and my favorite photo from his portfolio is featured below. Isn’t it cool?

The second photographer to be featured this time is Alexei Bazdarev, a russian photographer currently living in Germany. He’s got a great eye for fashion photography, and you’ll also see his work has quite a few photos featuring beautiful women showing a lot of their curves and skin. I have to say, I’m a fan of his work. The photo featured below was taken by this talented photographer, but there’s much more to see at his Flickr page, so go visit.

Five Photographers

I’m addicted to flickr. There are so many talented people over there, it’s almost unbelievable. So today I wanted to share five cool photos of some very cool photographers. That’s all, so here we go:

Above, a self portrait by Teresa Q (check out her blog for more awesome photography).

Then, a fantastic portrait on the left, by Elliot J. He’s got an excellent style, so be sure to check out his entire portfolio, and then go check out his site, which also features his brother’s work (they are twins and work together).

Bottom right, a photo by Eva van Oosten, taken with a Diana. Her photos tend to have a unique and ghostly feeling to them, which I love. Don’t forget to visit her site.

Cornelia Anghel took the photo on bottom left. Isn’t it cute? I bet it makes you smile.

And last, but not least, a great photo by Savannah Jane. The pose of the model, and the lighting, aren’t they great? You can also visit her blog.

That’s it for now. I hope you liked this selection of photos. Have a great day!

Not going anywhere

I thought it was going to be a long day, and indeed it was; so now I’m just relaxing, browsing one of my favorite sites, looking at photos. Also, I’m watching The Event, but don’t tell me what happens there, I’m just on episode 2, but so far, I’m enjoying it. Oh, and a bit earlier today, I watched The Walking Dead and I have to say, that series is awesome! I love zombies :)

And to finish this random post, I’d like to ask you something: would you get a tattoo like this?

Bonus: go see more photos by the talented Charlotte, and check out her tumblr.

It’s my nature. Three photos

What do we have for today? Three photos, three photographers. I found them on flickr, and they are all great and talented. Let’s start with the photo displayed above. Isn’t it lovely? I know it is. You know it is. And you know you can go see more great photos from this very talented photographer at flickr; check out the photostream of Emily Tebbetts and her deviantart gallery.

Second, we have a photo by Tabi**chu. A sort of creepy and silent landscape. A lonely road, in black and white.

You already know I love photos in black and white. And landscapes in black and white are specially interesting. They seem so special, so sad. I love them.

And now, the third photo: a fashion portrait by a very talented seventeen year old fashion photographer and filmmaker who likes youth culture, summer, film colour and rollerskating (according to her flickr profile).

It’s a lovely portrait, isn’t it? if you loved it, let me tell you something, the other photos at nirrimi’s photostream are just as great, so go check them out., and then go to her blog, which is just as wonderful.
