Coming or going?

fbr_012

I like photography. I like fashion photography. I like pretty girls. I like when someone combines all that and takes fashion photos of pretty girls (and it’s better when they are in black and white), like the one above, or the one below, both taken by a very talented photographer called Andrey Eroshkin. fbr_011

That’s all, or is it?

Bonus: the man who sold the world

Here’s a rather cool and exciting teaser fhe next issue of Jacques Magazine. It’ll be the May 2010 Sports issue.

I didn’t know about this magazine at all, but it looks like it’s a really good one, giving the feeling of vintage men magazines like Cavalier. And that video is out of this world. The model is so gorgeous, don’t you think? She’s Michea

What about the study of legs? check it out over here. It’s a movies by Jim Heldon, which apparently will be presented in a series of short videos. He filmed photographer Asushi “Jima” Nishijima photographing the legs of unsuspecting women walking the streets of midtown Manhattan during his lunch break. It isn’t anything creepy, or at least it doesn’t look like it is. You be the judge of that:

What do we have for today? Three photos, three photographers. I found them on flickr, and they are all great and talented. Let’s start with the photo displayed above. Isn’t it lovely? I know it is. You know it is. And you know you can go see more great photos from this very talented photographer at flickr; check out the photostream of Emily Tebbetts and her deviantart gallery.

Second, we have a photo by Tabi**chu. A sort of creepy and silent landscape. A lonely road, in black and white.

You already know I love photos in black and white. And landscapes in black and white are specially interesting. They seem so special, so sad. I love them.

And now, the third photo: a fashion portrait by a very talented seventeen year old fashion photographer and filmmaker who likes youth culture, summer, film colour and rollerskating (according to her flickr profile).

It’s a lovely portrait, isn’t it? if you loved it, let me tell you something, the other photos at nirrimi’s photostream are just as great, so go check them out., and then go to her blog, which is just as wonderful.

It’s sunday. It’s a good day to be outside. I have no clue why then I’m in front of a computer typing this. Maybe it’s just to share  a couple of photos with you. Here you have two photos of the lovely Marya Timorina for Vogue Russia, for the January 2010 issue. Isn’t she pretty?

The way you look

a beautiful model

There’s no reason to post this photo other than I love the way she looks, so elegant and glamorous. It’s a nice photo, that’s it.

Annie Beust is a gorgeous young american model born in Seattle in 1988. I don’t know anything else about her, except that she looks great in lingerie, doesn’t she?

I suggest you also go and visit the photographer’s site: Catherine Louis

I’ve been posting more photos at fb spin, but I’ll think I’ll return to the habit of posting some cool and interesting photos over here. Why? Because you deserve it, and because the sky is blue and roses are red….I mean, because I have no idea why…happy now?

Today we have this gorgeous photo of a woman with her tattoo of two butterflies (or is it two tattoos of one butterfly each). I love everything about this photo, the color, the dress, the tattoos…

You can check out more of the work of this photographer at suo-me’s deviantart gallery. If you prefer flickr, then go to his gallery at flickr. And if you’re a Livejournal kind of person, then go to his blog.

Other cool photos by cool photographers:

Also, check out mirabilia images (art photography), the portfolio/blog of a very talented photographer, but watch out, people are not wearing clothes in some of his photos.

Make Love Not War

lov and war

This is one of many photos of an awesome photoshoot Steven Meisel did for Italian Vogue a while ago. It was a somewhat controversial series, depicting sweaty, dirty soldiers in the middle of a war-zone joined by beautiful models in a very “heated fashion“.

More than 60 people including models, make up artists, stylists and hairdresers collaborated to create the whole thing.
