Incredible colour footage of 1920s London shot by an early British pioneer of film named Claude Friese-Greene, who made a series of travelogues using the colour process his father William – a noted cinematographer – was experimenting with. It’s like a beautifully dusty old postcard you’d find in a junk store, but moving.

This is an old video by talented illustrator Martijn van Dam, but I still think it’s pretty cool. It might even be somehow useful if you want to see how someone creates an illustration of a spacecraft.

The cool things one can find when wasting time on the internet. Meet Spike, a moving camera that shoots at high speed. It can be used to create some really cool scenes, as shown in the video. By The Marmalade.

I really like this sort of data visualization animations. This is a great video created by Michael Rigley. It looks cool, but its content are a bit scary. Learn a bit more about what they all know about you…

Information technology has become a ubiquitous presence. By visualizing the processes that underlie our interactions with this technology we can trace what happens to the information we feed into the network.

Bonus: Scales.

Miranda Kerr appeared in Elle magazine in June 2010, photographed by Mariano Vivanco. This is the behind the scenes of said photoshoot. I’ve already seen it 10 times. She’s so beautiful and cute.

I should upload the photos to the gallery, some day I will, but meanwhile, you can see a lot of other photos of Miranda Kerr at the FB Revolution gallery.

After the break, a video of Miranda Kerr answering questions about motherhood, weight loss and Victoria’s Secret

This video really caught my attention during my daily searching for cool stuff and the meaning of life on the internet. The video is for the song Where Dream & Day Collide performed by the band Madder Mortem. The music is not bad. The video is absolutely awesome and inspiring.

It was directed by Christian Ruud and Kim Holm. Kim Holm is a designer and motion graphics artist who has a fantastic portfolio. Check out his videos at vimeo, and then go to his flickr account.

Bonus: Daniela Uhlig’s art, and Catherine Lu’s art.

We showed a teaser video for this campaign a few days ago. Now you get to see the whole thing, which means 39 extra seconds. That’s one full minute of Megan Fox in lingerie. We thank Emporio Armani for this awesome gift to all of us.

Here’s the link to the vimeo version, and here’s the link to the youtube version.

A short but sweet video. Watch Rachel Cook by Jeff Tse in Costal Romance. Via: fashion copious.

Bonus: behind the scenes.

It’s a nice short video in black and white, directed by New York fashion photographer David Paul Larson. The gorgeous model is Lauren Young, who looks freaking gorgeous in lingerie playing in some bed sheets. It’s simply dreamy and cute. Bah, you don’t really want me describing the video, just watch it.

The song is Fever, performed by the late great Peggy Lee.

Bonus: Tayane Leao by David Paul Larson

Rebecca

Rebecca is an amazingly gorgeous girl, dancing, smiling and looking beautiful in this cool short video shot by the talented director and photographer Joe Wehner, who apparently likes to make short videos of beautiful women, as seen in his vimeo page. My favorites (besides the one I just posted): Michea and Tatiana.

Bonus: Candice Swanepoel for Esquire.

If you have 8 minutes, watch this video by Brad Kremer. It is, as its title suggests, a sequence of time lapses in various locations in Japan, and it is beautifully made. This seems to be the first from many more videos to come (according to the author itself).

Hayaku: A time lapse journey through Japan was shot in the summer of 2009, in locations like Tokyo, Matsuyama, Imabari, Nagano, Gifu and Ishizushisan. And I have to say, Japan is indeed a beautiful country.
