Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has made just one appearance for Chelsea this season. Coming on as a substitute in the Carabao Cup win over Barrow in September.
He joined Chelsea from Leicester in the summer of 2020 for £50m. And was a key figure as the club won the 2021 Champions League.
Chilwell will become Palace’s second new signing of the January transfer window. Following the arrival of Romain Esse from คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย Millwall.
“I’m really excited to be here. Crystal Palace are a club that is going in a really good direction. If you look at the results we’ve seen over the last few months, the results and the way the team have played, it was an easy decision to come here,” Chilwell said.
While Chilwell was finalising his move to Selhurst Park, Chelsea were out on the pitch for their clash against West Ham – which they won 2-1.
Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring after capitalising on a defensive mistake in the first-half – before Pedro Neto and an own-goal turned the match on it’s head.
There was plenty of controversy surrounding Neto’s equalising goal, after VAR ruled that Bowen was not fouled in the build-up.
Prior to Neto rifling the ball into the back of the net, Bowen was seemingly fouled by Chelsea defender Levi Colwill – however nothing was given.
Palace chairman Steve Parish added: “Ben has a high level of experience in both European and international football. I’m delighted he’s joining us on loan and we’re confident he’ll be a great addition to the squad.”
