Gary Neville believes Manchester United need to sign five new players to suit Ruben Amorim’s system.
United sit 13th in the Premier League after a goalless draw at home to Manchester City on Sunday and have won just two of their last eight league games.
Amorim has stuck to his usual 3-4-3 formation, with some success, and despite signing left wing-back Patrick Dorku from Lecce for £30m in the January transfer window, Neville believes several areas of the attack need to be strengthened.

“They come in with the idea of playing high-pressing football, lots of running, energy, but end up backing down in the big games. “
I understand why Ruben Amorim did that today. Because they don’t have the players who can really play in his system, United need five players before they think about anything else.”
“The front three they have are not good enough, the wing-backs are not up to par, they need five players who can really play in this system to get the team to play the way Amorim wants.”
